Job Description

The financial plan includes a personalized analysis to meet retirement, college, risk management, asset allocation, and estate planning objectives. After defining realistic expectations with the client or prospect, the Financial Planner produces and delivers a financial plan that identifies the customer’s existing condition, possibilities and gaps, and precise measures to reach financial objectives.

  • Maintain and expand referral channels, as well as cultivate strong connections with Retail branch, Business Banking, and Wealth partners, in order to guarantee that the investment requirements of present and new clients in designated Market and/or branches are met or surpassed.
  • Deliver a diversified set of brokerage, investment and insurance and advice-based solutions with a Financial Planning mindset to meet the individualized investment needs of current and prospective Bank customers in the mass affluent segment, utilizing Financial Planning experts, Carriers, Wholesalers in Insurance, and Managed Accounts as needed.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets in allocated market while satisfying customer demands and following rules and laws.
  • Offer services in financial planning by counseling customers on the benefits and drawbacks of the many product selections available to them in a manner that is tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Making suggestions for auxiliary services that may interest consumers during Financial Planning Analysis is among the duties of this position.
  • With the purpose of building connections and generating leads, he conducts telemarketing campaigns and sales seminars.
  • Offer investing and insurance options to customers and use Retail, Business, and Wealth ties to enhance referrals.
  • Investment goods and services may be varied using COIs (Centers of Influence) to fulfill the needs of customers while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare suggestions for personalized financial solutions to existing and new Bank clients and their portfolios, to fit their requirements and in their best interests; offer a variety of goods and services best suited to satisfy those needs; and independently sell and close these. Customers are profiled and suggestions are provided to ensure their demands are satisfied. Utilize sales tools and modules to do analysis and deliver the best advice, goods, and customer comprehension of solutions at a somewhat sophisticated level of appropriateness, within established standard processes, regulatory standards, and in support of each client’s best interests.
  • Coach and guide less experienced Financial Advisors, Licensed Bankers, and Business Banking staff to make sure they make good recommendations for investments and insurance.

  • In order to achieve client service deadlines, the applicant must be detail-oriented and driven by a sense of accomplishment that comes from being able to stay on top of several projects at once.
  • Self-assurance and a professional demeanor are necessary qualities for an individual who wants to work with high-net-worth families.
  • Computer-savvy and skilled with the Microsoft Office suite, including Power Point and broker dealer-specific applications
  • At a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent is required, with a bachelor’s degree being preferred. (A minimum of two years’ worth of expertise in the field of investment sales (preferably in a financial institution)
