Job Description

As part of the Inside Sales initiative, the Financial Consultant is in charge of carrying out typical origination tasks and reaching overall production targets. A Financial Consultant’s main goal is to use Velocify to turn leads assigned by the company (both for refinance and purchase transactions) into closed business. Every lead and origination activity needs to be monitored and recorded in Velocify.

Qualifications:

  • Develops and maintains strong relationship with Institutional Plan Sponsors.
  • Participants are advised on their pension plans, tax-deferred annuities, and other investment possibilities in order to assist clients maintain and grow their assets.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Investor requirements, underwriting standards, processing methods, and corporate rules.
  • Great customer service is provided to retirement plan participants as their transactions and service requests are processed.
  • Complete member transactions, problem solving, account opening and closing, loan applications, and cross-selling of all available products and services.
  • Never slack off on client care throughout the initial stages of the origination process.
  • Based on an understanding of tax and investment strategies, financial advice is provided to clients.
  • Check that all of your origination channels are up to par with regards to quality and regulation.
  • meets the management-set personal performance and production targets for the month and the year.
  • being accountable for providing first-rate service, education, and information, and creating solutions to meet the monetary needs of all members.

Skills:

  • precision in numbers, care in handling and weighing of bargaining chips, and a steady hand in balancing the books.
  • ability to clearly and effectively communicate with teams and other members using the appropriate means.
  • As a department affiliate, you are expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as all internal systems.
  • having expertise handling delicate information, juggling multiple tasks, and solving issues while delivering first-rate service.
  • At least six months of teller experience, familiarity with platform operations, and three to five years of experience in supplying financial goods and services to direct member contact are preferred.
