Qualifications:

  • Serves as the acknowledged authority in the analysis and direction of financial programs and problems, including the planning, scheduling, and execution of large projects involving analysis, assessment, and development, and supports the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Program’s functioning..
  • System/solution integration and process reengineering projects need communication with various levels of management and users.
  • Help with transactional accounting forms and reports such journal entries, expenditure reclassifications, and cash receipts.
  • In order to make sure that vendors are paid properly, check the payroll deduction database often and use reports from the billing administrator that say there have been no payments made. Monthly, payroll deductions, benefit plans, and invoices are rounded up with checks to make sure they’re all the right amount. There are no problems with payments to vendors. Analysis is done when it’s needed.
  • Process and validate manual adjustments submitted to group ledger on HealthCare Processing System for PCMI, WGAT, and individual accounts (COBRA).
  • Finance and compliance activities must be supported effectively in order to facilitate development and efficiency.
  • In order to achieve buy-in for system/solution integration and process reengineering activities, communicate with all levels of management and users.
  • In this job, he or she checks work in progress and when it’s done to make sure it’s good and that the goals are met.
  • Assist the Associate Analyst with monthly fee computations and rolling monthly reporting spreadsheets.
  • Plans and implements agency-wide rules and controls for the acquisition, allocation, distribution, obligation and expenditure of funds within approved budgets, and provides guidance on these policies and controls

Skills:

  • Excellent project management skills, shown through managing complex projects involving global teams.
  • a working knowledge of budgeting methods and financial management regulations.
  • Aside from familiarity with standard office applications like calendaring and word processing, you should have some familiarity with an as-yet unreleased healthcare system as well.
  • Competence in designing and arranging work assignments; coaching, inspiring, and guiding subordinate colleagues in the use of automated data processing principles and systems capabilities; and effectively completing tasks.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an authorized college or university in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline may be substituted for the requisite work experience.
