The manager provides advice and supervision to the Field Supervisor. As a general rule, he or she does not really carry out the task that is being monitored. Supervise line crews assigned to work on all overhead or subterranean transmission and distribution line facilities in a safe, productive, and quality-oriented manner, with an eye on safety. Provides consumers with prompt, cost-effective, and dependable service.

Qualifications:

• Monitoring, analyzing, and assessing occurrences involving logging and drilling data in order to solve difficult drilling issues
• The provision of cognitive and behavioral therapies to clients in order to eradicate or lessen maladaptive habits that may interfere with work is the primary focus of this position.
• Represent the interests of union members in a variety of capacities including grievance processing and presentation; staffing of union management communication committee meetings; and acting as the primary negotiator in master agreement discussions.
• Makes recommendations on the most suitable educational and/or vocational support services to be provided to clients in order to close the achievement gap.
• Supervises the work of campaigns in their service areas and verifies that all applicable requirements are satisfied. Contract campaigns, membership education drives, membership mobilization initiatives, leadership recruitment and development, and political action are all examples of activities that fall under this category.
• Segregates information or data received or collected by verbal, written, or electronic communication into several categories in order to assess the results and choose the most appropriate solution and resolve problems.
• In order to provide high-quality and timely services to all parties concerned, establishes constructive and cooperative working connections with partnering organizations, co-workers, supervisors, other employees, and local governmental authorities via meetings and good interactions.
• First-level disciplinary procedures; remedial action; accusations of employee misconduct; and contract administration are all responsibilities of the Disciplinary and Grievance Committee.
• Ensures that employees are accomplishing Council goals by developing a membership structure and undertaking workplace organizing with members.
• Create as many periodic reports as necessary, such as a weekly activity and service report, a monthly service report, a forecasting report, and a mileage report on a quarter-to-quarter basis

Skills:

• An understanding of transformers and other oil- or gas-filled electrical equipment procedures as they relate to hazardous waste control at SCE and contractor locations.
• The competence to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in order to execute tasks or reply to typical inquiries from customers/clients, regulatory authorities, members of the business community, and the general public.
• Workers can demonstrate effective leadership skills through the development of strong working relationships with coworkers, the adaptation of leadership styles to different employees, the identification of developmental needs, and the provision of provisional coaching and mentoring for those currently employed in the organization.
• It is necessary to have a working knowledge of both abstract and tangible variables, as well as the ability to read complicated technical instructions delivered in a mathematical or diagrammatic fashion.
• Construction industry expertise, including cabinet installation, servicing, order entry and delivery scheduling, and subcontractor management, is desirable.
