The Field Supervisor is responsible for professional vocational rehabilitation supervisory work of ordinary complexity in overseeing a moderately sized workforce; and does related work as needed, under general supervision.

Qualifications:

• Produce periodic reports as necessary, including a weekly activity and service report, a monthly service, forecasts, and vehicle mileage report, and a quarterly bonus report for the installer.
• Defines relevant educational and/or vocational assistance services to help clients narrow the achievement gap.
• Verifies that campaigns are being carried out in accordance with standards set out in their respective service areas. This includes contract campaigns, membership education drives, member mobilization activities, leadership recruitment and development, and political activity.
• Be the main negotiator in master agreement talks, process grievances alone or with the help of a mentor, and staff local and statewide union management communication committee meetings. The principal negotiator in master agreement negotiations
• Assists personnel in achieving Council goals by establishing a membership structure and engaging in workplace organizing activities with them.
• In order to provide high-quality and timely services to all parties concerned, establishes constructive and cooperative working connections with partnering organizations, co-workers, supervisors, other employees, and local governmental authorities via meetings and good interactions.
• The process of separating and analyzing information acquired or collected by verbal, written, or technological communication in order to arrive at a better solution and resolve issues
• Investigates and resolves complaints from members, labor partners, and state agencies; conducts inquiries into claims of staff misconduct; is responsible for remedial action; first-level disciplinary proceedings, and contract administration.
• Extensive review of events using logs and drilling data in order to address usually challenging challenges with logging and drilling data.

Skills:

• knowledge or skill developed from operating transformers and other oil- or gas-filled electrical equipment is essential for the processing and disposal of all hazardous waste products generated by SCE and contractor facilities.
• ability to comprehend a broad range of technical instructions delivered in a mathematical or diagrammatic style and to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
• Customers, regulators, members of the business community, and other members of the general public all need excellent listening and communication in order to complete tasks and respond to common inquiries.
• Experience in the construction sector, including cabinet installation, servicing, order processing, and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors, is desirable.
• Demonstrated capacity to successfully manage people by developing excellent working relationships with workers, adjusting leadership style to a range of employees, recognizing developmental needs, and providing coaching and mentoring.
