Project management requires a construction manager who is capable of directing daily operations and aiding the Project Manager, who is ultimately responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction. While working as a Building Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and directing all project team members who are responsible for the construction, installation, and testing of all project-related systems. You’ll be in charge of supervising the project team and subcontractors as they design, purchase, develop, and test all of the communication infrastructure related with the project you’re managing.

Qualifications:

• the carrier’s point of contact for all federal, state, and local government issues including the city’s permits and inspection needs developing ties with government agencies
• Verifying that the carrier complies with all standards while keeping project costs in check by analyzing leasing contracts and other regulations.

• Proposal requests for revision and other contract documents such as supplemental instructions or additional requests for information
• Project subcontractors, comprising all site and construction crafts, are assisted in certifying their credentials via this program.
• Coordinates with Control Manager to ensure appropriate posting in reporting program of consultant bills, contractor pay applications, and change orders.
• Make sure contractors who aren’t in-house aren’t cutting corners or skipping steps in order to save money or get better outcomes.
• As part of the planning process, initial project-specific cost estimates are created, and the task of budgetary management for the project’s multiple cost components is delegated to one person.
• Any build-to-suit contracts or spec houses, model upkeep, subdivision maintenance, or other difficulties that may arise when managing a successful subdivision development should be communicated to your Sales Counselor on an ongoing basis.
• Assisting as an information resource by organizing tenant work, attending meetings, managing conflicts, offering continual feedback, and arranging the project’s punch list and close-out.

Skills:

• Strong experience with construction contract agreements and the construction process, including the ability to read, comprehend and coordinate drawings and requirements from consultants.
• Building systems and components, contract management and project delivery procedures as well as team development and client interactions are essential..
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for ensuring that the work performed meets the specifications provided in the contract. Site Quality Control Manager (SQCM)
• Mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural construction knowledge gained via direct supervision of contractors and workers in a manufacturing environment is required for this position.
• Experience managing project timelines and budgets, recognizing deviations from the business strategy, and collaborating closely with the general contractor and project consultants to accomplish.
