A highly motivated and knowledgeable service technician is needed. The Service Technician plays a crucial role on our team by offering our clients first-rate customer service. They employ their mechanical skills to maintain, recondition, and put together new or secondhand machinery.

Qualifications:

• Maintain accurate records of machine information, such as model, serial number, hour meter readings, parts/equipment and supplies used in the process of repairs and any subsequent repairs that have not yet been done, in coordination with the Service Advisor or the Service Manager.
• Prepare and provide the required electronic papers using the established firm digital tools needed for each service to get the customer’s signature and approval.
• Maintain all company-owned equipment, vehicles, and assets in a safe and functional condition. Utilize tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and responsibly. Notify supervisor of any flaws that need to be resolved.
• Prior to leaving the project site, talk with the customer on any repair and safety issues and provide recommendations to enhance their material handling applications. Find quotes.
• Ensure that the service truck always has a supply of paperwork, literature, inventory, and other miscellaneous supplies. As the case may be, document the usage of or sale to the consumer. Ensure that the corporate car and all uniforms are kept clean and in acceptable condition at all times.
• Document findings and give remedial suggestions to the client, including a formal “”Safety Notification”” of any observed or known safety problems, if necessary. Determine customer’s desire to buy repairs and tell local service office of steps needed to sell or execute repairs.
• Complete service reports and other needed papers professionally, accurately, neatly, and legibly, and submit them on time and according to requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions on-site using visual inspection, test methodologies, and appropriate test equipment to determine what is causing the problem and what repairs are needed. Before finishing the job, do a basic post-repair evaluation to verify that all necessary safety measures are in place and functioning properly, and if not, note the shortfalls and attach a deficiency tag to the crane.
• Inspect and repair overhead moving cranes and hoists at various client sites according to instructions. As a member of the service office cycle, be available “”on call”” and offer after-hours service as needed.
• Consistently follows all safety procedures established by the company; pays attention to the immediate environment; and always wears the proper protective gear. Any near-misses, accidents, or injuries should be reported right once to the appropriate corporate personnel.

Skills:

• As a minimum, we need that you be at least eighteen years old and possess an up-to-date driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• The ability to use Microsoft Office on a desktop or laptop, as well as do research and browse the internet, is required. It’s important to be able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, both individually and collectively.
• Prior experience in hotel, commercial, and/or apartment maintenance is preferred, Capable of passing pre-employment tests, including drug and background checks
• Knowledge of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment maintenance procedures, materials, tools, and techniques. Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise
• It is desirable that applicants have an associate’s degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a similar discipline, or comparable training and experience in a vocational or technical sector. Required to both have and keep a clean driving record, as well as a current and valid driver’s license.
