To that end, the Project Analyst participates in and oversees many areas of technology-related projects through the application of planning, monitoring, and controlling procedures. The Project Analyst communicates with the target audience to learn about their needs, record their procedures and data flows, suggest ways to improve the process, and help with the rollout of any new software.

Qualifications:

• Sort project demands by complexity to establish what’s most important and how to get there.
• Make the necessary contacts inside the credit union to ensure that the proper people are informed about, and participate in, the initiative.
• Work with the project manager to find and carry out initiatives that support the company’s operational and/or strategic goals. Projects may consist of new systems, processes, products, or services, among other things, or they may be of a regulatory character.
• efficiently sort through ambiguous needs to find the real one and come up with solutions that meet it.
• Take raw data to generate outcomes that are simple to comprehend, and conduct the required research to get results that are readable.
• Maintain close contact with vendors to make sure that support and work are delivered on time, accurately, and in accordance with the project’s scope.
• Work closely with various credit union departments to identify the needs of the given business applications, suggest fixes, and create new procedures in order to increase operational effectiveness.
• Assist with task identification and timeline creation; coordinate logistics and manage meetings with credit union project partners.

Skills:

• Highly developed negotiation, consensus building and influencing skills, facilitation and the adaptability to respond to change quickly are required.
• a track record of managing activities and projects with strict deadlines and time constraints.
• At least three to five years’ experience as a project analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities are required for allocating tasks, inspiring colleagues, and managing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• a demonstrated ability to operate both independently and as a team player in an agile environment, collaborating successfully with all levels of the organization as needed.
