The Order Filler is accountable for filling orders for the company’s standard roll wrap. The Order Filler will gather the products listed on the customer order form and pack them into the predefined shipping container. This position needs extensive walking time.

Qualifications:

• Assemble and ship SE partner orders providing the exact item, appropriate quantities, and correct packaging to fulfill partner requirements.
• For each specified task, accurately completes the necessary methodical transactions and paperwork.
• Locates and reports any defective items in the order processing area, then transports them to a quality assurance tub for further inspection.
• Constructs predefined cargo containers and places them on a filling cart.
• Gathers the essential products, as stated on the customer purchase form. A product label is assigned to each selected product piece.
• Notifies the department clerk of product shortages, errors in stock placement, and product outages.
• Obeys all OSHA regulations and safety and plant requirements.
• Before taping the flap at the top, make sure that every component is placed inside the shipping container.
• Able to plan outbound shipments to achieve the maximum efficiency and accuracy levels.
• Gathers individual customer orders and related shipping paperwork.

Skills:

• Reading, writing, and basic math skills are required.
• Verify product quantities, count inventories, and perform other operations connected to handling, storing, and delivering client products at a basic to intermediate level.
• Experience working as an Order Filler with Voice/RF technology in a distribution/logistics setting, preferably with at least two years’ experience in the last four years.
• You must have the ability to work well with others and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
• Work flexible schedules and hours as required to meet corporate needs.
