In the pre-construction and construction stages of a project, and for all project scopes, systems, and assemblies, the Cost Estimator offers estimates, budget management, bid coverage, procurement projects, and possible projects. From conceptual to lump sum bids, estimates range. Having the ability to accomplish comprehensive quantity take-offs to support precise estimates for all commercial project disciplines, including but not limited to civil and site work, structural, concrete, envelope, finishes, mechanical, and electrical. Qualifications:

• Preparation of a Cost Analysis This involves preparing a cost analysis on a computer by describing the material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead expenses that were incurred in the installation of goods and categorizing them on the corporate server.
• Cost estimation outputs can be used to look at how different factors affect the costs of designing, researching, developing, operating, maintaining, and getting rid of a weapon system.
• Conduct fact searches, audits and negotiations on behalf of clients while collaborating with an international, cross-functional team that includes members from Contracts and Finance.
• In order to develop cost estimates, the Cost Estimating Division will build a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Assess the product’s economic viability and market position in conjunction with the Technical Support and Product Management teams.
• The project’s overall budget management may require you to prepare and negotiate estimates for Additional/Credit Change Orders in construction as well as contractor construction bid packages. You must also keep track of and modify these estimates as necessary (in accordance with cost estimating requests). This includes everything from studies and conceptual design options to preliminary and final designs and everything in between.
• The effect of budget adjustments on funded programs and other cost problems should be discussed in presentations and briefings to the executive leadership.
• Maintain communication with the design team, as well as the workforce and the subcontractors. solicits proposals from individual subcontractors. Notifies the supervisor of any mistakes or omissions in the database or the items being cited.
• Utilize analytical procedures such as generating mathematical expressions, setting up the issue, performing background research, gathering and reducing data, showing data for analysis, and making conclusions.
• Keep the project management information system up-to-date with the right records (e-Builder), Keep an eye on and track how well cost estimates are done (e.g., budget vs bid results)

Skills:

• Work in the sign or fabrication sector necessitates knowledge with best practices in metal assembly and efficiency protocols.
• Construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all phases of design must be understood and appropriately interpreted by all parties.
• 2+ years of continuous electrical cost estimate experience for vertical construction/engineering projects are highly appreciated.
• Basic knowledge and expertise with basic statistics and statistical reporting is required for success in the field of physics. Welding and fastening processes, as well as wind loads, are all things that should be familiar to the applicant.
• Exceptional arithmetic abilities, understanding of machine tool industry materials and component prices, reading part drawings (including GD&T), interpersonal interactions, negotiating skills, phone skills, ERP system competence, and experience with Microsoft Office.
