Qualifications:

• The application of the electrical code is used to troubleshoot and solve basic electrical wiring / circuitry problems, install and repair electricity and wiring, rough in feeders, branch circuit cables and circuits, splice electric or communication cables/trunk lines and trim out (finish) electrical devices.
• Assess students’ development and utilize the findings to guide future teaching methods and curricular plans. Professional development programs ensure that teaching methods and disciplines are always up-to-date.
• Verifying the continuity of the circuit, as well as ensuring the electrical compatibility and safety of the component components, requires the use of testing tools such as an ohmmeter, battery, and buzzer, in addition to an oscilloscope.
• Set up, install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components, and fixtures using hand and power tools, based on job specifications, electrical drawings, and local codes.
• In the course, a variety of tools and equipment are used, such as power construction equipment, measuring tools, power tools, and testing tools like circuit tracers, volt meters, meggers, proximity testers, and ohmmeters.
• It’s important to plan new or updated installations so that waste is kept to a minimum and maintenance can be done in the future. It’s also important to get rid of unsafe and unreliable wiring according to the area’s specifications and electrical standards.
• Through a process of self-evaluation and self-reflection, one reviews, assesses, reflects, and revises program curriculum and teaching techniques. As suitable for the subject, meets or exceeds professional standards, state-mandated norms, business/industry criteria, and higher education needs.
• Uses teaching techniques and resources that help students achieve course goals, are acceptable to students with a wide range of educational backgrounds and learning styles, and encourage student participation and interest in the content being taught.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect risks, faults, and the need for modification or repair, as well as to assure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ensuring a healthy working environment by following all business regulations and procedures, as well as by reporting any infractions to your immediate supervisor
