Full-Time Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk – Al Dhaid

Job Description

An accounts payable clerk is needed. Processing a large number of AP invoices in a 3-way match setting will be this person’s primary responsibility. An ambitious Accounts Payable Clerk has an excellent chance to get valuable experience inside a big, well-known company. The Accounts Payable Supervisor is the person to whom the Accounts Payable Clerk will be directly responsible.

Qualifications:

  • This individual acts as a vendor liaison and the second point of contact for internal and external stakeholders when the department head is unavailable.
  • Each invoice and outgoing payment made by their company must be examined and processed.
  • Assist in ensuring that all departmental activities and procedures adhere to accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Do not forget to print off and keep track of any accounts payable reports and files.
  • Accruals for recurrent monthly payments should be worked out with corporate and divisional controllers.
  • When cash is tight, examine vendor accounts and bargain extended terms with vendors.
  • Verify that orders and invoices are reconciled by confirming that all items have been received and paid for in a timely way and accurately.
  • Perform general administrative support activities, such as assisting the receptionist, as needed.
  • Perform routine tasks accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policy.
  • Enter all scheduled payments for accounts payable bills into the system.

Skills:

  • Experience at a high level in office administration or similar subjects.
  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented, capable at setting priorities, and multitasking.
  • Must be dependable, adaptable, cooperative, and eager to learn new skills and take on new duties with a strong work ethic and ethics.
  • The ability to communicate well with persons from technical and financial backgrounds is a plus.
  • An established track record of successfully calculating, posting and managing financial records and numbers.
