Qualifications:

• Manage cash flow by analyzing payments, verifying documentation, and authorizing disbursements within the parameters permitted for this position.
• Maintains accounting controls via the development and recommendation of policies and procedures.
• In order to guarantee effective adherence to policies and processes, supervise the accounting and administrative staff.
• Review and write analyses of statements and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformity to policy and procedures.
• Investigate financial and accounting issues and provide recommendations to ensure their resolution.
• Maintains consumer, vendor, and employee confidence and safeguards operations by keeping financial information private.
• Preparation of reports for sales and use taxes, property and fixed asset returns is required on a regular basis.
• Compile and analyze account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• As needed, collaborate with several departments to handle budgets, costs, and cash flow reports.
• Assembles, evaluates, and summarizes account information and trend data to provide customized financial reports.

Skills:

• Possess knowledge of a range of businesses and experience dealing with a set of client books.
• There is a minimum need of four years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in consolidations as well as in investment accounting.
• Word and Excel proficiency, as well as at least three years of experience utilizing QuickBooks for payroll, reporting, journal entries, and daily data entry are required.
• Must be self-driven and able to function with little to no supervision.
• The capacity to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere where overtime may be necessary.
