Your Embedded Software Engineer creates, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software. Develops OSes, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet tools. Compatibility/design of hardware are determined.

Qualifications:

• Over time, duties will encompass real-time, bespoke, embedded software solutions for Company Elevator Control and/or value-driven products.
• Develops and improves embedded software programs and products that are utilized in the company’s fuel management systems; contributes to our efforts to find solutions in the automotive and telematics arena.
• Maintains communication with internal and external development partners on software design, the status of projects, and issues that need to be resolved.
• Maintaining software that connects our elevators to the cloud is our primary responsibility here.
• Performs an analysis of the design in order to define which coding, programming, and integration tasks are necessary depending on the particular goals and criteria that have been created for the project.
• assuring that software and tools comply with safety and regulatory requirements, such as functional safety standards in the automotive and industrial industries
• Documents development effectively. Design documentation, code comments, and project specs.
• Only a small percentage of the whole software system may be improved, updated, or re-programmed, including but not limited to the operating system and compilers.
• Contributes to the creation of solutions that are dependable, cost efficient, and of high quality for an assigned component or subsystem of a system while serving as a member of a project team consisting of other software systems engineers as well as internal and external development partners.
• Identifies and debugs faults with the code, as well as makes suggestions for modifications or enhancements; executes and creates sections of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the component of the program that is allocated to them.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of motor control and power electronics is a must, as is a track record of successfully creating working prototypes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a similar subject, with 5 years of relevant experience
• When doing research into technical issues, it is necessary to make consistent use of one’s imagination, creativity, and originality in order to create and implement complex concepts, as well as to provide new and unique approaches, methods, processes, and designs.
• Evidence of independence in doing technological study and coming up with original ideas. Expertise in many computer architectures and multi-threading techniques.
• The analysis of feasibility, as well as research, design, and development, as well as strict adherence to standards, are used to guarantee the consistency of both products and processes.
