We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team here at Engineering. A key part of this position is to help design and create software solutions that are then tested and released throughout the globe. Elevator functionality that is both dependable and safe is a key part of what we do for both our internal and external clients. First, this position will work on the integration of elevator control with the cloud.

Qualifications:

• Maintaining compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards for software and tools solutions, such as those in the automotive and industrial sectors.
• Maintaining software that connects our elevator components to the cloud is our primary responsibility here.
• Documentation that effectively supports development initiatives. This contains design documentation, code comments, and project requirements.
• Develops and enhances the company’s fuel management systems’ embedded software and products.
• To determine which coding, programming, and integration activities are required to meet the project’s objectives and requirements, do a study of the design.
• Over time, duties will encompass real-time, proprietary embedded software solutions for Company Elevator Control and/or value-driven products.
• Maintains communication with internal and external development partners on software design, the status of projects, and issues that need to be resolved.
• Designs for components and subsystems of system software, such as operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools, are confined to upgrades, updates, and programming modifications.
• Identifies and debugs code problems and recommends modifications or enhancements to the program; performs and produces sections of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the assigned area of the application.
• Participates in a project team of software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to build dependable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for assigned systems section or subsystem.

Skills:

• Ability to explore technological difficulties and create creative/innovative solutions Multi-threading, inter-process communication, multi-computer architecture.
• The examination of feasibility and research, as well as design, development, and adherence to requirements, ensures that products and processes are consistent.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design, development, and debugging of motor control and power electronics embedded firmware and algorithms.
• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• Develops and uses complicated ideas and suggests new techniques, methods, processes, and designs to explore technological difficulties.
