Qualifications:

• Plans suitable instructional tactics and activities, including the identification of relevant learning concepts, organizational structures, and resources.
• Manages the conduct of students within the instructional setting in order to establish a climate that is conducive to the learning process. Additionally, aids with and participates in the management of student behavior inside other areas of the school as well as on the school grounds.
• Students’ needs, interests, and talents should be taken into consideration while designing a course of study. Engage students in the learning process by creating a classroom climate that encourages their participation and allows each student to meet their learning goals
• Maintain professional ethics, communicate effectively, and accept responsibility for professional advancement to improve student learning.
• Develop lesson plans and additional materials commensurate with the division’s core instructional philosophy and course/SOL requirements. Provide personalized and small group teaching to adjust the curriculum to the requirements of each student and subgroup.
• Students may showcase skills and ideas via displays, products, and other mediums, including electronic media presentations.
• Establish specific objectives for each lesson and unit in order to convey these objectives to students in order to guide the learning process towards the attainment of curricular goals.
• This includes ensuring that all testing programs are in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. As needed, participate in staff meetings and committees.
• Makes ensuring the classroom is beautiful, healthy, safe, and conducive to learning, and that resources are accessible and in excellent shape.
• You’ll need to learn how to use computers for word processing, data management/retrieval, visual/aural presentations, phone calls, and telecommunications.

Skills:

• Self-evaluation of work performance and career progress. Cooperate with building and district professors and employees. Able to behave online
• A teaching license with an endorsement in the subject area in which he or she is being recruited.
• If prior computer technology expertise is not available, the candidate must be ready to undergo the necessary training to meet the position’s technical requirements.
• Plan and execute lessons based on division, school, and student needs and abilities. Ability to work with children, classmates, and parents.
• An understanding of the curriculum, critical standards, and core principles employed by the School District, Information management systems and the preparation of action plans are necessary for this position.
