Cleaning and general maintenance are performed by the Drywall Finisher under the supervision of a supervisor to provide a safe and visually pleasant environment. Performs preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on a variety of building systems independently. Participates in the entire building management program to deliver high-quality, low-cost service with a strong focus on customer happiness.

Qualifications:

• Making sure that any job-related difficulties are communicated to your supervisor and that all equipment and supplies are used appropriately are two important responsibilities.

• Apply texturizing compounds or primers to walls or ceilings with trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper before final finishing. Use metal molding at the wall corners to attach wallboard and metal structural components.
• Be on time at the start of the shift and follow the division’s attendance requirements and procedures.
• To provide high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance while ensuring service continuity and coordination, communicates and works with the supervisor, the client, and other trades and subcontractors.
• When you work in a group, you may produce items that meet our quality requirements while also meeting our productivity goals.
• These finishes include painting (roller, brush and spray treatments), vinyl wallpaper repair (staining), and the application of other finishes. To enhance and maintain interior surfaces. Prepares and polishes surfaces using hand and power tools, restores damaged wood and metal doors, and conducts Finisher-related duties using these tools.
• Planning: Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and organizing your area’s production activities by conveying projected material shortages, identifying necessary tool maintenance, and communicating any quality or productivity difficulties.

Skills:

• Students interested in these vocations should take classes in carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic mathematics in high school, according to the experts.
• Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
• You’ll have an edge if you’ve already worked in the construction or manufacturing industries.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds, as well as do other physical tasks as required.
