Job Description

The Marketing Analyst’s job is to provide the team with in-depth business analysis and support. Sales, margins, retail pricing, and trending of both internal and market data will all be part of the analysis. You’ll also be in charge of root cause analysis, problem resolution, category research, and spotting prospective strategic possibilities. Work streams related to item selection and setup, promotional, seasonal, and off-the-shelf activities, vendor communication, strategic insight building, and reporting will all be coordinated by you.

  • Using primary and secondary research, produce an impactful category analysis and consumer insights to aid Category Marketers in developing a clear, impactful selling story in a visually appealing digital format.
  • For advanced marketing analysis and data visualization, market research from databases such as Innova, Datassentials, Technomic, Nielsen, Mintel, Euromonitor, and Datamonitor is employed (a plus)
  • On a daily basis, monitor and maintain assigned media, which could include SEO, SEM, direct mail, television, SMS, email, and more.
  • New product launches, as well as successful, innovative, and unsuccessful items, are investigated, reviewed, and reported on. Analyze local data, statistics, and consumer trends before compiling them into a presentation for marketing or sales.
  • Creates, develops, and maintains intuitive dashboards for marketers and other business teams that democratize digital data.
  • Working understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly spreadsheets in Excel, is necessary.
  • Intelligence to generate and evaluate hypotheses focusing on enhancing the digital experience and site performance fuels the testing and optimization roadmap.
  • Working collaboratively with business teams to identify the most critical business issues to be addressed in the data, develops solutions to drive consumer awareness, engagement, happiness, retention, and other business outcomes.
  • Create clear and actionable business insights for media, communication, and creative teams, as well as department leadership. These findings will inform marketing strategy, finances, creative execution, and media planning.
  • Manage the technical aspects of essential marketing platforms used to produce, distribute, and report on leads (marketing automation, CRM).


  • Data-driven content and inquiry/conversion marketing campaigns have been developed and measured for more than three years.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset backed up by business knowledge and a strong work ethic
  • For issue solving, the candidate must be able to organize, structure, analyze, and provide proposed solutions.
  • Knowledge of sponsored search (Google Advertising, Bing), PLA (Google Shopping), retargeting, social advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and Amazon Advertising or other self-serve retail marketplace ad platforms.
  • Technically proficient, a good communicator, and a desire to improve operations and revenue through digital customer engagement.
