Qualifications:

• You’re fostering teamwork by assisting all members of the medical team in creating an environment where patients have a positive and lasting experience.
• Keep the entrance, the waiting area, and the reception area neat and tidy at all times. Tidy up once a day if you can. Vacuum, mop, dust, remove spider webs, sweep the entrance, and wipe the glass/windows on a regular basis to keep your home clean.
• The process of finding out whether a patient has health insurance and informing them about it Keeping track of unpaid insurance claims.
• Pull up and listen to all voicemails left for the clinic as often as possible. Respond or give the follow-up to someone else to make sure it gets done. Answer all phone calls within three (3) rings and use phone dialogue protocol language on every call.
• New clients should be given gifts and shown around your dental facility, emphasizing the numerous benefits they will get by choosing (Your company) Dental. Focus on aspects of the facility that are specific to the patient’s treatment and care as you lead them through the tour.
• Positively welcome and concentrate on each patient; quickly check the patient in; and obtain any updates for personal medical history and/or insurance information. Ensure that the dental software is updated as needed.
• Insurance and Medicaid providers may be consulted on claims and treatment plans as well as pre-authorizations. Accurately determine dental benefits and co-payments, Revisit yearly CDT code revisions with dentist and staff.
• Monitoring reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure that customers and insurance companies are paying, submitting verified insurance paperwork after they have been completed.
• Treatment plans and associated costs should be explained to patients. Help patients understand dental insurance policies and payment choices for treatments not covered by insurance.
• Make sure there are no duplicate patients in the system by obtaining all new patient papers and searching for the patient or the patient’s family members. Please double-check your work for correctness and completeness before submitting it to the system. When a new patient is ready, notify the back office.

Skills:

• Strong abilities in verbal communication of concepts Dental Insurance: Comparing PPO and FFS Plans and Their Benefits It is impossible to overstate the significance of careful planning and carrying out of one’s plans. an understanding of how to use dental software
• Excellent customer service, professional communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and project devotion.
• Must have at least two years of experience in the dentistry field along with a thorough understanding of dental terminologies and insurance benefits to be eligible. Having some familiarity with the dental software SoftDent is a plus, but it isn’t required.
• Ability to build and sustain long-term connections with patients and coworkers There must be a proven track record, maturity, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• That you have Open Dental Software is a huge advantage. Accounting expertise is preferred but not required. The equivalent of a high school education or better (recommended), Two years of dental coverage (Required)
