This position is responsible for professional vocational rehabilitation supervisory work of medium difficulty in overseeing a moderate-sized workforce, as well as associated tasks.

Qualifications:

• As needed, generate periodic reports including a weekly activity and service report, a monthly service, forecasting, and vehicle mileage report, and a quarterly installer bonus report, among other things.
• When information or data is communicated verbally, written, or electronically, it is organized and divided into separate parts so that it can be analyzed, choose the best solution, and solve problems.
• Develop a membership structure and engage in workplace organizing with members to ensure that workers are achieving Council objectives.
• In addition to grievance processing and presentation, staffing union management communication committee meetings, and serving as the principal negotiator in master agreement negotiations, the union representative serves as an advocate for union members.
• Through meetings and other beneficial contacts with collaborating agencies, co-workers, supervisors, other employees and local governmental authorities, ensures quality and timely services are provided.
• responsible for conducting investigations into employee wrongdoing, taking corrective action, administering first-level disciplinary actions, and administering the company’s contracts.
• Logging and drilling data may be used to analyze and evaluate difficult drilling issues.
• Verifies that campaigns are being carried out in accordance with standards set out in their respective service areas. This includes contract campaigns, membership education drives, member mobilization activities, leadership recruitment and development, and political activity.
• Makes recommendations on the most suitable educational and/or vocational support services to be provided to clients in order to close the achievement gap.
• Changing harmful behaviors with cognitive/behavioral therapy may help individuals find out how to work.

Skills:

• Knowledge or expertise with transformers and other oil-filled/gas-filled electrical equipment processes as they pertain to the management and disposal of all hazardous waste products produced by SCE and contractor facilities.
• Capacity to understand a wide range of technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form and to work with a variety of abstract and tangible variables.
• Effective listening and communicate effectively with customers or clients in order to perform tasks or reply to typical inquiries from customers or clients, regulatory authorities, members of the business community, and other members of the general public is essential.
• Effective leadership is shown by establishing strong working relationships with workers, adapting leadership style to varied employees, identifying developmental needs, and offering coaching and mentoring for people in the workplace.
• Extensive construction industry expertise, including understanding of cabinet installation and service, order input and delivery scheduling, and subcontractor management, is preferred.
