Qualifications:

• Negotiates the terms of repository agreements and gift deeds. Assesses and evaluates gifts and purchases, handles loan agreements, and ensures that rules are followed.

• Among other things, form and maintain strong, proactive alliances with other municipal agencies, outside vendors, programming partners, and educational institutions.
• Carry out your own technical research on the history of computing, looking at how computers were made as well as how they worked and how they were used. This could lead to publications in peer-reviewed journals or books.

• The equivalent of a four-year college degree in museum work or a comparable field of study.
