The Computer Analyst will create connections with computer end users, manage the end user computer experience, manage workstation protection software, manage imaging software, and keep an accurate inventory and location for all computer equipment and accessories. The Computer Analyst is also responsible for developing and managing computer equipment cycle plans, preventive maintenance plans, and submitting an annual capital acquisition plan for end user workstations.

• Computer hardware and network connections must be installed and maintained under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Involved in a subset of project management tasks such as the design and planning of the Minimum Viable Product.
• Create application and system test strategies that include automated testing throughout the test lifecycle. Plan your tests.
• verify that workstations, laptops, servers, and other peripheral devices are functioning correctly; to detect and address problems; and to keep the equipment up to date
• Follow current development and change control standards; bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions in order to obtain the best possible outcome.
• Current projects, help desk requests, and other tasks are discussed in weekly meetings with managers and unit employees.
• Assist with keeping accurate inventory records for information technology hardware and software/licensing, as well as writing vendor warranty support requests and contacting vendor support as necessary.
