This role requires the candidate to use hand tools to build pallets for use by bulk and route truck drivers. It’s crucial to follow the correct order when loading and unloading vehicles. Loads are stacked with the help of forklifts and electronic pallet jacks. The position is accountable for the timely loading and receiving of papers. Employees are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment consistent with warehouse loading regulations. The length of a typical workday may vary frequently based on the level of demand for a given position. Products need to be loaded into a transport truck after being collected from the warehouse. relocating raw materials to a designated storage area. Select individual packages and flavors from the warehouse stock in order to fill a bulk truck. Stability on a pallet is achieved by stacking and shrink-wrapping the pallet. Selecting which products, flavors, or pallets to load into a truck is just one aspect of the many loading options available for route trucks. Each vehicle may have a different product or package requested by the sales staff. Qualifications:

• Looks over the production schedule, order forms (customer, work, and/or shipment), and requisitions to figure out what needs to be delivered, collected, or distributed. Makes worksheets/tickets according to specified client needs. Move goods within the warehouse to the appropriate location (shipping, production, or storage) in accordance with the schedule and operational regulations.
• Following established operational procedures for the chosen items, the items are tallied and packaged.
• Distributed completed work orders, material requests, and other stock-item requests to manufacturing employees.
• If you take all the necessary safety measures, you can lift to fifty pounds.
• Places merchandise and supplies in appropriate bins, racks, or crates, following established procedures based on criteria such as size, color, type, or product code. Gather everything that is required for the order.
• Follow all SOPs to the letter to keep everyone on the job safe.
• Be on time and pay close attention to detail to give your customers the best service possible.
• Makes sure everything is where it should be and notifies management of any inventory issues, such as lost items, damaged goods, or a lack of stock.
• Warehouse employees oversee moving goods in and out of the facility, as well as loading and unloading trucks.
• Drive loads and pallets to the picking area using a forklift or motorized pallet jack, then stack them in accordance with the load sheet or voice-activated equipment (if applicable)

Skills:

• Any employee with a full-time status should be willing to put in extra time outside of their scheduled shifts if the company requires it.
• Requires prior experience working in a warehouse and familiarity with warehouse equipment like motorized pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Constant physical exertion is required, such as bending over to pick up objects, stooping to handle large or awkward equipment, or walking for long distances.
• It is part of the job to network effectively with other employees and departments as well as the general public.
• Capability to become a certified Material Handling Equipment Operator (MHEO) and safely operate various types of material handling machinery
