Job Description

The organization’s financial operations and accounting processes are managed by the Chief Financial Officer, who provides vision, leadership, and general management. Financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, reporting, tax preparation, audit operations, investment planning (revenue and expense modelling), and legal oversight will all be part of the job description. The CFO will lead and supervise a team of finance/accounting and business operations professionals, which includes IT, shipping, and property/facilities management. Human Resource functions are also under this position’s control.

Qualifications:

• In charge of the Cooperative’s subsidiary integration, as well as consolidated financial reporting.
• Maintain all banking relationships as needed, with the help of other accounting team members.
• Financial and accounting experience is necessary, preferably in the industrial business.
• This position needs a self-starter who is adaptable, ambitious, and highly collaborative, and someone who can roll up their sleeves and get things accomplished.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, particularly Microsoft AX, are beneficial.
• The creation of a financial strategy and plan is essential.
• Accounting concepts must be properly appreciated.
• Communication, management, analytical, and technological abilities are essential skills the job seeker should have.
• Maintain a long-term financial plan that has been developed in consultation with the Finance Committee and the CEO.

Skills:

• It is necessary to have a working knowledge of (IT) information technology, shipping, and facilities management.
• A background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is required.
• Financial accounting and database systems are vital to have understanding of.
• Great interpersonal, oral, and written communication talents are required.
• It’s better if you have CPA certification.
