The CFO oversees, coordinates, and evaluates the financial aspects of the organization’s activities as a member of the Executive Team. Designs and implements systems for identifying and controlling income and expenses within the organization; consults with and advises the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Trustees on methods for increasing revenue and decreasing operational costs in relation to the organization’s overall goals and objectives, the market, and community needs.

Qualifications:

• With the Finance Committee and the CEO’s involvement, develop a long-term financial plan.
• It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• A self-starter who is flexible, motivated, and collaborative, as well as someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves and get things done, will be required for this position.
• Responsible for the integration of the Cooperative’s subsidiaries, as well as the preparation of consolidated financial reporting.
• With the help of other members of the accounting team, maintain all banking relationships as needed.
• The ability to communicate, manage, analyze, and use technology are all essential.
• You must be able to work with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, particularly Microsoft AX.
• Setting up a financial strategy and plan is essential.
• It is beneficial if you have previous financial and accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Accounting principles must be comprehended in their entirety.

Skills:

• The ideal person will be well-versed in (IT) information technology, shipping, and facility management.
• Prior successful mergers and acquisitions experience is needed.
• A CPA qualification is highly recommended.
• A working grasp of financial accounting systems and databases is necessary.
• In person, on the phone, and in writing, you must have these communication abilities.
