The person in this position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a particular area, division, or shift inside the warehouse or distribution center. It ensures that the division has the staff, training, tools, and resources necessary to meet customer demands for accurate, high-quality, on-time deliveries as well as productivity, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

• Establish and enforce the use of standardized operating processes and procedures to ensure consistent quality and lower costs.
• Develop and offer strategies for improving the product’s quality, functionality, and security.
• Maintain confidentiality and act professionally at all times when discussing expectations, resolving conflicts, or addressing concerns.
• Assist colleagues with training, development, and coaching/corrective action.
• Ensure that department and warehouse operations save money, offer value for consumers, and improve morale and the work environment for teammates.
• Safety, reliability, integrity, innovation, and service are the company’s five pillars, and they should be exemplified at all times.
• Always know what’s available, what’s being used, and what’s needed to fulfill orders, and communicate the department’s status.
• Make an impact on the investigation and resolution of labor/product issues and control flow issues in production.
• Construct working schedules and assign tasks for coworkers in the same department.
• Discover the guidelines and requirements, train your group to follow them, and then watch as they win your support and provide outstanding results.

Skills:

• possess computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• possess the capacity to recognize issues, gather information, go over proof, and make reliable judgments.
• capable of conducting follow-up Q&A sessions with groups of managers and employees after engaging them in interesting presentations.
• Be a seasoned leader with a track record of success in hiring, onboarding, developing, and resolving conflicts with staff members.
• Review all written documentation provided by the company, including work orders, instructions, measuring tools, and safety programs, in great detail.
