The Registered Nurse (RN) is a healthcare professional who is trained to assess and treat patients’ mental, physical, and social well-being. This position is responsible for coordinating nursing resources with other members of the health care team in order to offer high quality, cost effective patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• In charge of allocating patient care responsibilities to the appropriate members of the team and ensuring that those responsibilities are met. a detailed, step-by-step plan for members of the nursing team to follow.
• Communicates relevant and complete information to incoming licensed personnel to ensure care continuity. Admission exams, continuous pain assessments, etc.
• At the beginning of each shift, staff with subordinate responsibilities are briefed on the current status of the residents as well as the expectations and requirements for the shift. Additionally, throughout and at the conclusion of each shift, these staff members get reports from their subordinates.
• Keeps a close eye on the needs of the residents and adjusts care plans as necessary based on their feedback and suggestions. Work with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate their efforts in order to analyze, develop, implement and measure resident care plans. Consults.
• Directly provides nursing care in accordance with hospital and unit rules, procedures, and recommendations. Uses evidence-based care standards in nursing. Makes choices based on facts, disease/surgical conditions, care needed, and judgment.
• Anticipates accurately and effectively changes in patient care requirements. Communicates and notes changes in patient condition to the charge nurse/supervisor and physician in a timely manner.
• Builds and keeps up their professional and clinical skills. Completes all annual requirements for skills and education within the set parameters and time limits. Takes part in professional activities like staff meetings, meetings about caring for patients, educational in-services, and other activities. Keeps up with policies, procedures, and standards for performance.
• Recognizes and aids in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and otherwise), and reports to competent authorities in accordance with state legislation.
• A group of assigned patients’ nursing needs are evaluated. Acts as an advocate for the rights of patients. At all times, focuses on the patient and their family and evaluates the effectiveness of their care.
• Cares for patients in an efficient way, keeping records that meet standards and talking to patients in a way that reduces the chance of medical or health care mistakes.

Skills:

• Acquiring a bachelor’s degree is preferable than an associate degree in nursing. Nursing experience in an acute care setting for at least a year is required. You’ll need to have both a current RN license and a current BLS certification.
• Assessing the physical, psychological, and environmental requirements of patients in home health care is done via documentation, clinical records, case conferences, team reports, and other assessments and documentation.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and practices emergency medicine knowledge Understanding and following health and safety requirements (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)
• The capability of effectively communicating information and providing answers to questions posed by department executives, consumers (including patients, family members, and physicians, among others), and the general public. Capability to generate reports on nursing operations and progress notes for patients
• It is necessary for staff, parents and consumers to be fluent in English in order to interact effectively. Experienced supervisors will be given priority consideration for the position in question.
