Qualifications:

• Patients should know what their treatment plans are and how much they are expected to cost. Help patients understand their dental insurance plans and find ways to pay for services that aren’t covered.
• Discuss any potential claims, treatment plans, and pre-authorization requirements with your insurance company and Medicaid. Make an accurate calculation of your dental benefits and co-pays, Informing the dentist and staff on the yearly adjustments made to the CDT codes
• Confirming the payment of customers and insurance companies by reviewing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Uploading insurance verification forms that have been completed.
• Always check the clinic’s voicemails. Respond or assign follow-up to assure completion. Answer all incoming phone calls within three (3) rings.
• Search for new patients and their families to eliminate duplicates. Check spelling and correctness while entering data. When patient is ready, notify back office.
• Upon the patient’s arrival, quickly check them in and seek any changes to their medical history, insurance information, and/or personal information. Ensure that the appropriate software upgrades are implemented.
• Inquiring about the patient’s medical coverage and educating patients and their families on their respective insurance plans Monitoring unpaid insurance claims and keeping a record of them.
• Keep the entryway, waiting area, and front office welcoming, clean, and professional. Daily spot cleaning and organization. Weekly deep cleaning duties include vacuuming, cleaning corners and edges, mopping, dusting, removing spider webs, sweeping the entryway, and washing windows and glass.
• Prepare new patient gifts and provide clinic tours, emphasizing the advantages of selecting (Your business) Dental. Highlight their particular attention and treatment throughout the trip.
• You’re fostering teamwork by assisting all members of the medical team in creating an environment where patients have a positive and lasting experience.
