Qualifications:

• Respond to any inquiries from equipment users on the equipment’s operation and efficiency by making rounds in the designated areas. The status of repairs should be communicated to the end-users of the device.
• Enzyme assays, chemical screening and optimization, and other tasks are all part of the job description.
• Find out how to identify and fix equipment malfunctions, as well as how to develop simulation software that mimics physiological responses in virtual environments. Improve your technical skills by practicing on a mannequin.
• Creates, develops, and offers biomedical equipment repair and maintenance services. Enzyme reactions and the influence of organic compounds on biological processes are studied and researched.
• Coordinate and participate in special projects, such as the procurement of new equipment, the preparation of bid requirements, the analysis of vendor offers, the planning of the installation, the acceptance testing, renovations, equipment upgrades and the disposal of equipment, as assigned.
• Participation in the creation of biosensors of the future generation, with a particular emphasis on glucose sensing, in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams is an absolute must.
• Aid in the installation of computer hardware and assist in the testing of different medical and biomedical equipment.
• Ensures biomedical equipment meets regulatory and quality criteria Execute experimental designs with engineers and technicians.

Skills:

• Ability to act as a biomedical engineering subject matter expert, supporting clinical technology with service, system administration, training, quality assurance, and life-cycle management.

• Medical technology and/or research device safety and effectiveness may be addressed in a continuing education session.
