Job Description

As a biomedical engineer, you’ll be responsible for checking and maintaining a wide variety of medical equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electromechanical talents, as well as the ability to troubleshoot both electronically and mechanically. Schematic reading abilities and PC knowledge are also required.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Required education and credentials include a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related science, or a graduate level degree in biomedical engineering or a related science. Licensure and certification are also necessities.
  • Medical technology and/or research instruments may be safely and effectively used if an ongoing education program can be developed to address these issues.
  • Ability to serve as a biomedical engineering subject matter expert, supporting clinical technology with service, system administration, training, quality assurance, and life-cycle management.
