The Production Associate’s major role will be to ensure that Spectrum’s award-winning content is published on spectrumnews.org and other platforms, such as newsletters. The Production Associate will work closely with the Multimedia Director and Copy Chief to ensure that the Company’s high production values are maintained and elevated, as well as with the rest of the team to ensure that the Company reaches its specialized audience, which includes neuroscientists, clinicians, geneticists, and policymakers.

Qualifications:

• Know your way around Microsoft Office, eXtyles, Adobe, ProofCentral, and PTS (basic level).
• The Production Associate is responsible for following the correct procedures in order to manufacture finished goods.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including design, to ensure that projects are completed on time and that our overall digital customer experience is improved.
• Participate in at least one online training as well as any relevant in-house trainings per year.
• Write specifications and supervise the implementation and quality assurance of the digital experience’s content and features in close collaboration with the development team.
• Keep good working connections with the underwriting, closing, and asset management teams, as well as external agency investors.
• Execute content updates and initiatives on our e-commerce site, such as pricing modifications and product uploads.
• Assist with the construction, design, and editing of proposals, offering memorandums, graphics/covers, flyers, maps, aerials, logos, floor plans, photos, presentation graphic/charts, and end bound volumes.
• Manage the integration of diamond video and photo sites, including new provider onboarding and ensuring compliance with our requirements.
• In collaboration with internal teams and the development team, troubleshoot, report, and QA website defects related to products and back-end functionality.

Skills:

• Highly organized, with a strong emphasis on owning a project from start to finish.
• GED or comparable high school diploma
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint are all required tools for the applicant to be comfortable with.
• Knowledge of audio-editing tools, particularly Descript and ProTools
• Two content management systems that can also be utilised for marketing and outreach are WordPress and Mailchimp.
