We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to assist the office’s daily financial operations. This job functions as a member of our local and regional financial teams and resides within the local operations team. You will collaborate with numerous agency divisions and client contacts, gaining a comprehensive grasp of the agency’s general financial processes and procedures while taking into account client-specific details.

Qualifications:

• Project set-up on new contracts, contract amendments, accrual status, and any adjustments required for proper bills are determined by working with Finance Analysts in conjunction with the Project Management team.
• Examining and implementing cutting-edge financial technology such as robotic process automation, natural language processing, and block chain.
• Collaborating with stakeholders such as product marketing, sourcing, and accounting to comprehend the design and function of new goods, the conditions of contracts, and to provide suggestions on the needs for cost assurance and launch preparation.
• Manage the whole customer billing cycle, from project inception through final invoice. Using accounting software, prepare monthly billing packets for account team review. Send invoices to the client’s accounts payable department in line with their rules and with the necessary assistance. Client budgets and purchase orders must be reconciled with billings. Maintaining current AR and WIP is watched, and any issues are resolved as soon as possible.
• Manage the weekly audit of time sheets. Data input for the month’s financials. Request and handle refunds from clients. Check the correctness of the monthly studio billing. Assist with SOX reporting on a monthly basis.
• Attends project kick-off meetings and participates in their planning and implementation.
• Verifying Verizon’s payments to its business partners, presenting bills to management for approval and payment of those invoices that have been validated for the purpose.
• This position is responsible for creating and submitting complicated invoices for government and commercial contracts on a monthly, bi-monthly (or frequent) basis that document the amounts owed for goods and services.
• Contractual requirements for rev sharing and rating regulations must be adhered to in the system. Answer partner questions and resolve conflicts by providing research and evidence to back up your claims.
• Finding ways to automate the new partner/product stack and connect it to the payable/receivable systems.

Skills:

• The ability to multitask and utilize sound judgment to manage several projects with competing deadlines and priorities is a must, as well as a results-driven attitude.
• Basic accounting or billing experience of at least three years (advertising industry experience preferred but not required).
• It is necessary to be able to learn quickly, take initiative, and work well under pressure. It is ideal to have prior experience with corporate finance systems.
• Highly skilled with MS Excel and has a great ability to transform data into insights that can be put to use.
• All levels of workers in a variety of fields benefit from this individual’s excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
