Job Description

The Multimedia Designer will report directly to the Senior Director housed in the Bureau of Planning, Program Integration, and Evaluation, but will work out of the Office of Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement. Always act in a professional manner, keeping a good disposition and being open to constructive criticism. In this role, you’ll be using Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat), Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint to complete a wide range of graphic/digital user experience designs. Web graphics, system graphics, digital and online publications, annual reports, print brochures, postcards, flyers, signs, and interactive advertisements are all examples of common undertakings. Capability to produce designs that are both visually striking and effective in conveying their intended message with a firm grasp of typography and design principles.

Qualifications:

• Provide updates on the project’s progress and check that it is completed on time, within budget, and according to business standards.
• Learn the relevant information for the project, participate actively, and ask questions as you go.
• Plan, develop, and oversee the creation of all marketing materials.
• Logos, banners, social media posts, ads, brand systems, edited short and long movies, illustrations, and animated visuals/graphics should all be created.
• Use 3D modeling software like KeyShot to populate virtual spaces with products and animate them.
• Create initial designs, idea drawings, models, and prototypes using a variety of techniques.
• Finalize the design solutions based on your assessment and the feedback of others.
• Maintain a high production rate while ensuring accuracy, quality standards, and meeting or exceeding production deadlines; prepare print files in coordination with the sales and production teams for daily orders of custom graphics.
• Work together with Marketing to design and generate marketing communications materials like as sell sheets, flyers, ads and banner ads, packaging, product instruction sheets, presentations, email and social media campaigns, website product pages, landing pages, and trade show materials.
• Develop and discover new methods for communicating information that either supports higher accuracy, ease of template usage, or clearer communication while maintaining a refined visual style.

Skills:

• Ability to effectively interact with staff members with varying technical knowledge requires advanced interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Capable photographer or filmmaker with a keen eye for design.
• Must be proficient in the most recent versions of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere/After Effects.
• Ability to work as part of an integrated team in an office setting.
• The ability to manage many projects at once and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously is a must.
