Job Description

Under the Project Manager’s immediate control, the Assistant Project Manager will work on the project. You will help with all aspects of operational project management as an assistant project manager, including responsibilities that are related to construction.

  • Assist the PM in organizing and collaborating the team as well as in implementing and managing projects.
  • Meets with clients and client engineers to review drawings, plans, and engineering estimates.
  • Manages all billings to ensure timely submission of payment applications and collection of payments from the owner in order to maintain a positive cash flow position.
  • Manage the entire workflow of a specific project once client has approved scope, cost and timeframe
  • Participate in performance management and effective communication in order to accomplish the goals of the project, department, team, and company.
  • The assistant project manager is in charge of managing and leading given projects in a timely, cost-effective, and safe manner.
  • Responsible for developing new personal business ties, which includes holding regular client meetings, creating proposals and budgets, and getting feedback with the help of the project manager.
  • Provide quality control/quality assurance in accordance with Company and Department standards, as well as customer and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.
  • Organize, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors to complete work orders contained in the Statement of Work (SOW). Determine the needs and then convert them into operational strategies.


  • Completion of an authorized management course and a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Using MS Office programs with proficiency (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • You must have the ability to work well with others and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
  • 5+ years of experience and shown team leadership.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities.
