To help our expanding firm, we are seeking for a Payroll Clerk. This position calls for quick problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage many circumstances at once. Qualifications:

  • Maintain payroll data through gathering, computing, and inputting information.
  • The payroll also comprises the employee identification number, the number of hours worked, time tracking, taxes, insurance, garnishments, and other necessary deductions.
  • Create computer-input forms, enter data into files, or calculate and transmit payroll deductions to the system.
  • As needed, reports on payroll on a regular basis and assists with financial audits involving pay records and associated general ledgers. As required, creates extra reports for management.
  • Educate personnel on how to use payroll-related tools, such as timesheet submission and online pay statement access, by providing instructions or training.
  • Make that all new employees have completed their paperwork and entered their information into the payroll system.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments; then, submit the data to the appropriate records.
  • Compile employee time, payroll, and production information from time sheets and other documents.
  • Make sure to keep track of changes in your employee’s status (such as a change in their benefits or tax withholdings), as well as any garnishments or child support orders they may have.
  • Payroll reimbursement, audit, and communication with employees are all part of the process of processing employee expense reports.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with at least three years of experience in a large company (verbal, written and listening)
  • Working well in a fast-paced atmosphere and as a team member.
  • Ability to input, edit, and format text and numeric data, as well as to add, remove, and alter cells, rows, and columns, as well as to make and save spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.
  • The ability to manage one’s time and communicate effectively. Moderately difficult instructions; making small judgments in line with the laws and regulations of the workplace; maintaining corporate records; dealing successfully with workers and convicts are only some of the skills required for this position. Work with diverse groups of individuals in ever-shifting and challenging environments.
  • Payroll and clerical experience of at least two years in an increasing capacity is necessary. Experience with payroll is a must. When it comes to general knowledge of the written word.
