Job Description

The Order Filler is accountable for filling orders for the company’s standard roll wrap. The Order Filler will gather the products listed on the customer order form and pack them into the predefined shipping container. This position needs extensive walking time.

Qualifications:

• Notifies the department clerk of product outages, shortages, and wrongly positioned stock.
• All OSHA rules and plant/safety regulations are followed.
• Identifies and removes any damaged merchandise from the order fulfillment area, placing it in a quality assurance tub and informing the proper staff.
• Completes all paperwork and appropriate methodical transactions for each project accurately.
• Select a bundle and sails Orders placed by SE partners are checked for correctness with regards to product, quantity, and packaging to guarantee satisfaction.
• Individual customer orders and related shipping papers are collected.
• Constructs predefined cargo containers and places them on a filling cart.
• Collects the necessary products as listed on the customer purchase form. Attaches a product label to each selected product piece.
• Checks that all components have been loaded into the shipping container and seals the top flap.
• Able to plan outbound shipments to achieve the maximum efficiency and accuracy levels.

Skills:

• Basic to intermediate level to verify product quantities, count inventories, or do other responsibilities related to handling, storing, and delivering client products.
• Recent experience using voice/RF technology as an order filler for at least two years in a logistics, distribution, or related industry.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts as determined by business needs.
• Essential skills include the capacity for basic literacy and numeracy.
• You must have the ability to work well with others and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
