Qualifications:

  • The person in charge of this is in charge of the supply chain and fulfillment metrics for the site. This position is in charge of managing performance and making sure it is linked to supply chain goals.
  • Uses judgment and discretion to address customer and associate queries and problems, and selects when to forward more complicated matters to upper level management.
  • Responsible for managing the skills of team leaders so that decisions can be made on the front line and innovative process improvements can be made.
  • Assists the General Manager/Food and Beverage Multi Unit Manager I in managing by overseeing the day-to-day operations of associates working inside a specific restaurant or set of restaurants or points-of-sale.
  • Create and cultivate a connection with the owners of the properties by engaging in proactive communication and becoming the subject matter expert of those properties, ensuring that they are kept clean, properly managed, and well cared for in the process.
  • Upon arriving for the day, review the guest service record to see if there are any requests, complaints, or noteworthy incidents that need to be addressed.
  • Ensures that all health and safety policies, procedures, and standards are followed, raises awareness about wellness and safety issues, and notifies the General Manager of any safety problems.
  • Analyzes financial and operational data and reports to keep track of progress toward unit objectives and assigns coworkers to meet those aims.
  • Interviews job candidates and decides on hiring, dismissing, advancement, promotion, and other status changes for unit employees.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the hotel’s public spaces, ensuring that any possible safety dangers and cleanliness problems are addressed and corrected.

Skills:

  • A degree or certificate in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is essential, as is at least three years of customer service experience in the hospitality business.
  • Ability to speak, understand and grasp directions, brief communications, and policy papers, as well as have comfortable conversations with customers, is required.
  • Windows, Power Point, Microsoft Office, and Event Management and Maintenance Management Software expertise are desirable.
  • Knowledge of all relevant federal, state, and municipal sanitary, safety, and health regulations, as well as all HACCP-compliant processes and protocols
  • Able to perform shifts throughout various operational days and hours each week; during opening, during busy day portions, and during closing to oversee restaurant employees’ job activities on these various days.
