Job Description

We’re looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. We’re thrilled to be bringing on this brand-new role for our company. The whole cycle of accounting is the responsibility of the Full Charge Bookkeeper. Routine financial computations and general ledger activities are also part of the job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you may also be responsible for verifying the correctness of computations made by other staff and handling payroll.

  • Building and cultivating great customer connections by communicating with customers on a regular basis through the phone, text, email, or video conferencing, Connecting your customer’s accounting software to yours
  • Report your company’s financial standing on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to independent auditors, internal colleagues, and external parties. Accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, deposit summaries, and cash position updates should be performed on a monthly basis.
  • Full-cycle accounting responsibilities fall within the purview of this position. Vendor spending invoices should be entered into a database. Accounting expertise is a must have. Manage customer accounts receivable and bill them.
  • Composes a variety of reports and tables, such as those on cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
  • Establish strong reporting and billing systems in order to regularly supply timely information, and prepare us for federal accounting requirements in order to extend our business in the federal government sector.
  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting for several parishes and schools, including bank and credit card reconciliation and transactions.
  • Help with the entries for the payroll allocation, Help prepare financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, Help with the production of the yearly financial statement and any other audits that the government agency may need.
  • Through our HRIS/Payroll system, process the organization’s payroll every two weeks. Those who have used Paylocity before are a plus, Before posting in QuickBooks, process and check the payroll journal entries.
  • Make workpaper packages and reconciliations every month, Using programs like MS Excel and Yardi Voyager, you can make report templates and do analysis.
  • Support the onsite Property Managers and other site workers in all facets of financial and transactional reporting. Support system improvement projects, such as simplifying and automating procedures and creating cost-savings.


  • Has shown the capacity to collaborate well with others, Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines and organize work according to priority, Strong initiative and the capacity to start oneself when it’s important to do so.
  • An understanding of accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is necessary for success. GAAP/accounting theory is well understood. Ability to use Yardi Voyager or similar property management software.
  • Bachelor’s in accountancy or finance More than two years of customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction. 3 years in accounting,
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills for MS Office, Experience with a small company, Flexible, willing to work with others, and focused on service.
  • Excellent communicator who is able to communicate effectively with coworkers, executives, and other external parties. customer-focused, with a pleasant manner and a positive attitude, as well as a culture of collaboration.
