The person in this role is accountable for ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures related to the care of children. In addition to approving or rejecting registration applications and renewals for child care facilities and centers within the assigned counties and caseload, this role is responsible for conducting monitoring visits and providing advice to Team Leads.

Qualifications:

• The pedagogical tenets of the center and the participation of other staff members may make it possible to serve students of varying ages, sizes, and compositions.
• Child care centers are subject to inspections and evaluations to ensure they are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• When it comes to health and safety checks, weekends and late hours are acceptable. Keep your options open.

• For this position, you’ll be tasked with coordinating between the division and IT to manage the organization’s child care registration database.
• The committee advises the state on whether to approve or deny new child care provider applications and whether to keep or revoke existing registration.
• Position responsibilities include instructing staff, fielding inquiries from facility owners, and providing data and resources related to child care.
• Issues that need to be addressed are communicated to child care workers, and explanations and explanations of those concerns are provided.
• Together, social workers and investigators look into allegations of child abuse and neglect and compile evidence.
• Compliance with child care regulations in a given area is not ensured by regional collaboration among owners, administrators, boards, and child care providers.

Skills:

• Experience working with low-income families and familiarity with the Child Care Resource and Referral Service are required qualifications.
• Learning to read, assess, and interpret business journals, technical processes, and regulatory requirements is essential.
• Superior social, organizational, and verbal skills are essential.
• To be successful, one must be able to converse fluently and answer questions in front of audiences including managers, customers, board members, and the general public.
• You need a Master’s or the post-baccalaureate credit equivalent to qualify. At least four years’ experience supervising or instructing in a formal educational setting, or close affiliation with such an institution.
