The Asset Manager’s responsibility is to oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of Company’s technology-related data center and public cloud assets. The Asset Manager role is responsible for the life-cycle management of information technology assets throughout the enterprise. This duty includes the establishment and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures, systems, and measures that allow the organization to lead the Asset Portfolio in terms of risk, cost, control, governance, compliance, and business performance goals as defined by the company. The Asset Manager will collaborate with all departments engaged in the acquisition, implementation, administration, and reporting of IT assets, as well as the usage of integrated software solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Lead the company’s current tenant relationships to ensure that excellent service is provided. A good network of leasing agents, attorneys and bankers can help in the negotiation of leases for high-profile tenants.
  • Make sure the information in the configuration management database (CMDB) is up to date, correct, and auditable by adding asset data like hardware serial numbers or identification tags.
  • To guarantee that the asset’s everyday operations, positioning in the market, and ultimate disposal are all led by the plan, strategic business strategies should be identified, produced, and executed.
  • Work with the organization’s IT department to develop protocols for monitoring and evaluating corporate hardware from purchase through retirement.

Skills:

  • you must be able to interpret and communicate information to colleagues in English at a level that enables you to safely and successfully carry out your job obligations via reading, writing, and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Able to use MS Office and the internet (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge of the procurement process, from start to finish.
  • Applicants for this position must have five (5) years of experience managing infrastructure assets in a government agency, and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides you with the knowledge and abilities that are required for the position.
