Job Description

The Admissions Coordinator is a crucial element of the admissions team and offers administrative support for all facets of the application, recruitment, and enrollment processes. She or he reports to the Director of Admissions for the School. The main point of contact for prospective students with general questions about admissions is the admissions coordinator. Daily correspondence with prospective students and their families, the processing and review of applications, the enrollment of accepted students, the administration of on-campus audition logistics and paperwork, administrative support for other programs (non-resident DMA applicants, dossier service), and assistance with other tasks and projects as assigned by the director of admissions are all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Editorial assistance for a journal/publication. Edits and proofreads work for grammatical and factual accuracy. Tracks copy through various levels of editing and production. Communicates with authors, printers, and others involved in the publication of work.
  • establishing connections with career counselors and pre-pharmacy association advisors to promote inquiries and applications from prospective students.
  • identifies the equipment, space, and administrative requirements for conferences, lectures, seminars, and symposia. assembles and plans for required items. determines the data’s sources. gathers, creates, and works with data. Reports or portions of reports are written after summarizing the findings.
  • Formats, proofreads, and edits communications, reports, papers, grants, and other documents. Attachments and appropriate material are assembled. Examines incoming documents for completeness, dates, and signatures. Formal correspondence and written material are compiled.
  • manages the support staff by supervising, training, and planning their activities. controls the creation of financial documents like contracts and budgets Keeps track on spending and ensures that the books are balanced
  • invites guests in. calls are picked up and answered. determines the type of the business gives information in response to inquiries and offers help. mail is screened and handled.
  • Provides information to incoming students, current students, and prospective students, as well as answers their questions (e.g., deadlines for required documentation, information about pre-orientation and general orientation, etc.).
  • supplies information for recruitment reports and advice for boosting recruitment efforts.
  • the supervision and coordination of office, program, and administrative activities. creates, chooses, carries out, and coordinates office processes and systems. is the main source of information for faculty, staff, and students regarding rules, processes, programs, and office activities.
  • Arrangements for travel are being coordinated. There is planning and coordination of get-togethers. Manages the ordering and stockpiling of necessary materials. Either a few quick minutes, or a dictation, is all that’s needed. Completes extra tasks that aren’t directly related to office work.
