Job Description

Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the entire management of the firm with the goal of delivering value-added financial services to members/owners on a profitable, competitive and financially sound basis. The CEO is responsible for implementing management controls, reporting to the board of directors, and leading the company’s operational units in a way that is compatible with good corporate governance and safe and sound business practices.

  • As part of fostering communication, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the organization’s basic beliefs and goals is critical (all levels of employees, customers, the board, Farm Credit Administration, funding bank and communities, etc.).
  • In charge of making sure that employees are productive and that the organization’s goals are met, while also making sure that the workplace is a place where everyone feels welcome.
  • Help support effective and efficient work procedures as well as new initiatives by making recommendations and developing solutions. Job Description:
  • Capable of comprehending and using financial figures as a management tool, and has previously been responsible for operating budgets
  • Each and every difficulty and action relating to finances, operations, people, and marketing must be reported to the board of directors in a timely and accurate way.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the association’s controls, financial and operational performance are being closely monitored on a regular basis (i.e., capital requirements, asset quality requirements, management and staff effectiveness, earnings requirements and liquidity requirements).
  • Set up local procedures and programs, and use them in conjunction with management controls and standards to develop and implement the organization’s operations.
  • Do everything you can to make sure the company is profitable and to keep up the record of careful, lean financial management that it has. It’s important to look at the organization’s structure and operations after strategic planning and make changes if they need to be made. Improve and think outside the box when it comes to how the organization uses technology in all of its work. To protect the organization and the public’s trust, make sure that everyone who works for the organization does a good job and sticks to very high standards.
  • Ensure that the organization’s culture attracts, maintains, and inspires a diverse and highly competent workforce by serving as an inspirational, approachable, and supportive staff leader. Ensure that communication and decision-making are characterized by rigor, high quality, clarity, and transparency. Encourage positive and collaborative communication across departments. Promote the use of technology in the workplace.
  • Management of the firm’s financial results, in line with our cooperative objectives, ensures a complete business plan that delivers the largest amount of shareholder value possible.


  • Evidence of a demonstrable ability to assess, prioritize, and take action on a broad variety of challenges, ranging from the strategic to the administrative in nature
  • Management and leadership qualities that have been shown, including staffing, orientation, coaching, performance assessments, training, and development, among other things, as well as the capacity to produce outcomes through the efforts of others
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of managed care, including delivery system structure, financial concerns, program creation, utilization management, network management, quality improvement, and consumer/community roles and responsibilities.
  • Experience in marketing, public relations, and fundraising, as well as the ability to communicate with a diverse variety of stakeholders and cultural backgrounds is required.
  • Management qualities that are above average include strategic corporate growth, talent attraction and development, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
