Qualifications:

  • Plan and execute regular staff meetings and office events, such as client and company development events and charitable contributions.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the office, including the secretarial, administrative, and clerical staff, as well as any other outside vendors used (mail, document reproduction and hospitality)
  • Is part of the company’s administrative operations team, which develops and implements strategies to better serve the company’s internal and external customers.
  • Keep the office safe from intruders and up to date with the firm’s legal business continuity obligations.
  • Supervises and oversees workers, including scheduling, timecards, and employee reviews.
  • carries out a variety of secretarial, clerical, administrative, record-keeping, accounting, file-review, and support duties.
  • Various clerical duties, such as typing letters and reporting, processing paperwork, answering questions, referring clients, and setting up meetings, are carried out.
  • Manage the upkeep of the building, liaise between the management team and the tenants, and coordinate with the necessary departments within the company.
  • Provides information to the public regarding the branch’s policies, programs, and processes; this responsibility may require the employee to make a case for a certain course of action to management.
  • Maintains office services through the assignment and monitoring of clerical tasks, management of communications, creation of filing systems, review and approval of supply requests, and general office upkeep.

Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of management experience in a midsize or larger professional services firm are required.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software fast.
  • Possessing the poise and skill to juggle competing objectives and tight deadlines without sacrificing productivity or quality.
  • Proven mastery of the highest levels of leadership, communication, and efficiency.
  • Capability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a high-pressure, precise setting.
