Qualifications:

  • Verifies the correctness, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements of accounts, ledgers, claims, invoices, purchase orders, receipts, or other comparable documents.
  • Contributes to accounting by assisting in the verification and comparison of invoices with delivery documentation and the input of account payable transactions into the database.
  • To ensure compliance with accounting laws and regulations, verifies calculations, checks for accuracy, and ensures the legality of transactions in accounting records.
  • Records are kept and data is gathered to produce modest to complicated financial accounts and reports.
  • Records cash receipts, verifies them, and inserts invoices for receivables on behalf of accounts payable.
  • Prepares and exhibits statements and reports that represent account connections and need occasional searching and analysis.
  • Monthly accounts payable accruals are prepared and reconciled by this position. Consolidates accounts payable and other accounts in the general ledger on a monthly basis. The person in charge of spotting mistakes and offering fixes to journal entries.
  • The normal office support responsibilities include stocking office supplies, receiving, opening, scanning, and delivering mail, filing, photocopying, and other common organizational and support duties.
  • By gathering information, creating summaries and requests, and determining cost estimates, the employee may help the supervisor prepare the budget.
  • Check the information that the person who entered the data put in. The submissions should be looked over to make sure they are right. The last step in checking the information and data in the General Ledger.

Skills:

  • Full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field for at least three years.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; the ability to flourish in a fast-paced workplace with shifting deadlines and priorities; the capacity to learn and adapt rapidly.
  • Plan and manage huge volumes with meticulous follow-through, exceptional numerical accuracy, and a keen eye for the smallest of nuances. A commitment to continuous process improvement.
  • Knowledge of how to use office tools such a copier, fax machine, and computer.
  • Having worked with automated accounting systems for at least two years processing financial or accounting transactions, or having experience with similar transaction processing.
