Qualifications:

• Sales and use tax returns, personal property and fixed asset reports need to be produced monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Manage cash flow by analyzing payments, authenticating paperwork, and approving disbursements within the job’s terms and bounds.
• Managing budgets, expenses, and submitting cash flow reports as needed while collaborating with multiple departments.
• Collects, evaluates, and summarizes account data and trend information to create specific financial reports.
• For correctness, completeness, and adherence to policy and procedures, review and write analyses on statements and reports.
• Maintains the trust of clients, suppliers, and staff while safeguarding business operations by maintaining the privacy of financial data.
• Accounting controls are kept in place by developing and promoting rules and procedures.
• Supervise the accounting and administrative employees to ensure proper compliance with rules and procedures.
• Investigate financial and accounting issues and provide recommendations to ensure resolution.
• Compile and analyze account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.

Skills:

• In order to apply for this position, you must have at least four years of experience as an accountant, with an emphasis on consolidation and investment accounting.
• Possess familiarity with dealing with a variety of client books across many sectors.
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and be a self-starter. Motivated by deadlines.
• Word and Excel skills, as well as expertise with the accounting software QuickBooks, which requires a minimum of three years of experience in the areas of payroll, reporting, and daily data entry in the program.
• The capacity to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere where overtime may be necessary.
