The Accounting Manager is in charge of the accounting department. This job also serves as a consultant to the organization’s management, advising them on current budgetary facts and cooperating with them to build a fiscal strategy that is in line with the company’s goals. This position directly supervises personnel and performs supervisory activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Among the tasks include interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and training individuals; planning, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; rewarding and disciplining personnel; and dealing complaints and resolving disputes.

Qualifications:

• Analyze financial and accounting issues by conducting research and analyzing data.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to ensure proper reporting and reconciliation of transactions.
• Collaborate with the client services team, media channel owners, and external media partners to improve the billing and collection process.
• Provide the regional Controller with strategic advice on operational efficiency, financial policies, and company strategy.
• Assist the controller, finance, and business operations teams in continually improving accounting procedures.
• By analyzing financial data, transferring it to the accounting system, obtaining supplementary data, and creating reports, one may offer accounting help for audits and acquisitions.
• Analyze current procedures and make any necessary improvements to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of the department.
• Contribute to the accounting and organizational goal by generating applicable reports and analysis as needed.
• Manage the group’s financial and operational operations, such as acquisitions, revenue, invoicing, processing payables and expenses, and vendor contracts and agreements, with regard to policy adaption.
• Assist the firm with specific initiatives, such as technology deployments and examining the impact of accounting standard changes on financial reporting.

Skills:

• An accounting manager’s capacity to oversee the in-transfer of some accounting responsibilities, to assess the efficacy of current practices, and to train and develop the accounting staff.
• The analysis and evaluation of information should be conducted, comprehended, and delivered with precision. You must also have experience in collaborating with others.
• Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel proficiency is essential. A plus would be further knowledge of data warehouses, MS Access, HFM, etc.
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience necessary; familiarity with consolidations and investment accounting preferable.
• It is necessary to demonstrate an understanding of auditing methodologies and processes, as well as awareness of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
