The accounting department is overseen by the accounting manager. This position also acts as a consultant for the organization’s management, providing them with budgetary information and helping them develop a financial plan that supports the company’s objectives. This job performs supervisory duties in line with the organization’s rules and relevant legislation and directly oversees personnel. In addition to interviewing, employing, coaching, and training staff members, other duties include organizing, allocating, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and punishing staff members, and responding to complaints and resolving issues.

Qualifications:

• To enhance the billing and collection process, collaborate with the client services team, the owners of the media channels, and outside media partners.
• Collaborate with company operations and finance to ensure accurate reporting and transaction reconciliation.
• Administer financial and operational policy adaption, including: acquisitions, revenue, invoicing, payables and expenditure processing and vendor contracts.
• Assist the firm with specific initiatives, such as technology deployments and examining the impact of accounting standard changes on financial reporting.
• Assist the controller, finance, and business operations teams in continually improving accounting procedures.
• Contribute to the accounting and organizational goal by generating applicable reports and analysis as needed.
• By analyzing financial data, transferring it to the accounting system, obtaining supplementary data, and creating reports, one may offer accounting help for audits and acquisitions.
• Offer the regional controller strategic counsel on operational efficiency, monetary laws, and business strategy.
• Improve the efficacy and efficiency of the department by examining present processes and, if necessary, making improvements.
• Find answers to accounting and financial challenges by conducting research and evaluating data.

Skills:

• Understanding of applicable laws, rules, and regulations as well as auditing procedures and best practices.
• Detailed information analysis and assessment should be performed, understood, and communicated. You should also have experience working successfully in a collaborative context.
• A minimum of four years of accounting experience is required for this job, with an emphasis on investment accounting knowledge.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint abilities are necessary. Additional knowledge of data warehouses, MS Access, HFM, etc.
• Being able to manage the in-transfer of some accounting tasks, examine and improve processes & procedures, and coach and develop the accounting team’s performance.
