You will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger and its subsidiary ledgers as an accountant. Manages accounts payable and receivable operations and month-end processes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, including month-end accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP, TMW, and TMT systems would be advantageous.
• Businesses in the sector value candidates with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and one to three years of relevant experience.
• Must be a natural perfectionist with no tolerance for financial sloppiness.
• Create record-keeping and accounting systems using current computer technology, then apply, update, and document them.
• An Accountant’s duty is to analyze and synthesize data from many sources and keep an eye on the current market circumstances.
• Your written and verbal communication skills must be strong if you want to work with people at all levels of management.
• This position is responsible for managing cash flow by analyzing payments, checking documents, and allowing distribution in accordance with the parameters established for this role.
• Accounting jobs need proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access.
• Consistently protects the confidentiality of financial information in order to maintain the confidence of all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and employees.
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done

Skills:

• Understanding of the rules and processes governing government accounting.
• Compelling financial statements and reports need thorough comprehension and examination.
• A basic familiarity of accounting principles and procedures is a good idea.
• It’s vital to establish strong working connections with coworkers, supervisors, and members of the public.
• Accounting-related computer programs and apps must be at least somewhat recognizable to those who need them.
