In this position, you’ll be responsible for providing client and thought leadership throughout the entirety of the business development process, from the initial discovery of a client’s business needs and objectives to the actual execution of winning processes by leading cross-functional pitch teams. Qualifications:

  • Independent salesperson having a track record of success in targeting the mid-market.
  • Use marketing and sales materials, graphic presentations, research reports, and data for sales assistance to help customers understand the company’s message.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with upper management by submitting timely and accurate business projections, estimates, and paperwork, and managing all aspects of the sales communication and negotiating process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key advertising decision-makers at the agency and client levels.
  • To drive revenue development and strategy throughout the portfolio of accounts, create yearly and quarterly business plans.
  • Find leads inside the agreed-upon verticals, start conversations, and push to a successful closure.
  • Develop, design and create solution options that paint a vision of what is possible for the client.
  • Keep important internal stakeholders (e.g., split partners, finance, marketing, etc.) updated on account status, proposals, personnel changes, etc.
  • Income growth through the sale of bundled video, social, print, internet, mobile, tablet, and event-based programming is your responsibility.
  • Working together with the Marketing Services group to create and supply clients with novel solutions is crucial for maximizing sales.

Skills:

  • Capable of communicating successfully one-on-one and in groups, as well as possessing strong verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Possessing strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to multitask, set priorities, manage time efficiently, and pay close enough attention to detail to guarantee accurate work.
  • Capacity to produce high-quality work on schedule and follow up effectively to ensure success.
  • Outside sales experience with connected platforms is preferred.
  • Focusing on getting things done, doing what needs to be done, and taking responsibility for issues when they emerge are all crucial to success.
